We are looking for you who want to help develop our client's suppliers with a focus on electronics-related components in autonomous technology (cameras, sensors, radar).

In this position, you will become somewhat of a local globetrotter within Europe, with travel once a month and many exciting meetings along the way.

Your Future Challenge

You will be part of a team with a good atmosphere where everyone supports each other and works towards common goals. Together, you will ensure that all suppliers meet their commitments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing suppliers and identifying risks before supplier selection.
• Responsible for PPAP processes.
• Auditing suppliers' internal processes.
• Verifying and validating product and process performance at suppliers.
• Leading and following up on APQP activities.
• Overview of suppliers' capacity and financial performance together with other purchasing functions.
• 8D review and approval of quality deficiencies from suppliers.
• Coaching and driving suppliers in continuous improvements.
• Building your personal network of supplier functions, purchasers, product developers, and other stakeholders in the long term.

The Person You Are Today

You have a broad knowledge base and understand that there are many aspects to the role of SQE. You are aware that there are many interesting challenges to work with in Gothenburg's automotive sector, even if you do not necessarily need to be particularly interested in vehicles otherwise.

As a person, you are creative and curious about the needs of the assignment and understand what creates value in each situation. You find it exciting when everything is not predetermined and are motivated by getting to know new contexts.

You bring the following:

• Knowledge of the automotive industry and applicable practices between suppliers and vehicle manufacturers: IATF/ISO/TS 16949, APQP, and PPAP.
• Experience in auditing suppliers' manufacturing processes (SEM, SEMAT, VDA 6.3).
• Experience from Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies in improvement work.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic production is highly meritorious.
• Experience working in cross-functional project groups.
• Engineer / Master of Science in Engineering or relevant work experience.
• Good English skills, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel for work in Europe.
